DEMAGNETIZATION RING COIL FOR PIPELINE

A pipe demagnetizing ring is a device designed to drastically reduce or eliminate the magnetic field present within pipes. The appearance and specific configuration of the demagnetizing ring can various, but is usually a closed ring-shaped structure. The ring is made with
non-magnetic materials and its structure is particularly light and easy to use and handle.
The demag ring coil is placed around the pipeline which contains the unwanted magnetic field. Its main function is to divert the magnetic field flux through the magnetic material of the ring itself, creating an alternate path that reduces the magnetic field strength inside the tube.
Its effectiveness depends on the strength and configuration of the original magnetic field, as well as the design and correct installation of the demagnetizing ring.
